The Great Scot Yacht
Great Scot IV is a brand new Elan 410 which will be available for charter from February 2008. Equipped with brand new racing sails and equipment the yacht will be a competitor in any regattas customers request to attend as well as a superb cruising yacht with a luxury interior. The boat can be sailed with up to 10 guests. It can comfortably sleep 8 in three cabins. Elan 410 is an exciting cruiser racer with emphasis o n style and outstanding performance. Her racing characteristics makes the Elan 410 a contender at regattas and yet perfect fast cruiser for group social charter. Long waterline length enhances her performance under sails as well her interior volume.
Below Deck
	Elan 410 is designed to set new standards for comfort and superior finishing throughout allowing the crew of up to eight members to enjoy their stay onboard. The fractional rig doesn’t hide its competitiveness and the cruising oriented sailor additionally can use non-overlapping headsail for balancing the powerful mainsail.
	Spacious open cockpit will find very affective both racing crew and cruising family. Large steering wheel speaks out racecourse but it makes her responsive and easy to control for a leisure helmsman.
Deep heavy lead keel with its very low centre of gravity enhances stiffness and safety – attributes that benefits all yachtsmen whatever their preferred kind of sail. The ergonomically designed cockpit is suited to cruising as well as racing. Powerful winches, extensive use of roller bearing blocks and a large diameter steering wheel make for easy handling. Below deck the spacious 3 cabin interior provides more headroom than expected in a yacht of this size with plenty of storage and comfortable accommodation. The Elan 410 is a very fast but stable yacht, in particular downwind. The first Elan 410 in the UK, Premier Flair is currently leading Class 1 in the prestigious Hamble Winter Series.
